Minimal fashion store interior design · day

Design notes
- Materials
- Cream walls, oak veneer and a pale speckled floor stay in one narrow range, so linen, knit and tailoring become the main colour. The marble plinth is the only hard edge.
- Lighting
- Track spots wash the side walls and the rooflight adds a pool of daylight halfway down. The lit niche at the far end gives the eye a destination.
- Layout
- The route runs straight down the centre, with the white till block against the left wall and low tables pulled back from the path.
- Display
- Folded knitwear sits on plain oak tables at hand height, and rail stock is spaced generously. The mannequin pair shows passers-by two finished outfits.
Try this: In a narrow unit, keep the centre line clear and let one lit feature at the far end pull people through.
