Terms of Service

These terms are a contract between you and Vishal Pawar, trading as RetailDesign.ai, New Delhi, India (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using retaildesign.ai (the “Service”) you accept them. If you use the Service for a company, you confirm you can bind that company.

You must be 18 or older. The Service is built for businesses and design professionals; consumer protection laws that apply to you are not reduced by anything in these terms.

The Service uses AI models to help you explore and refine retail and commercial interior designs. Today it includes:

• Explore Ideas · concept images from a written brief.
• Design a Space · a redesign generated from a photo of a space.
• Fix Renders · edits to an existing image described in words.
• Design Studio (beta) · an editable, dimensioned store scene, a brand fixture library, brand-book extraction, and renders from the scene.
• Mood boards, bill-of-quantity estimates, presentations and client review links.

We change the Service over time. We may add, alter or retire tools; where a retirement removes something you paid for in the current period, §5 applies.

• Give accurate information and keep it current.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Tell us promptly at info@retaildesign.ai if you think someone else has used it.
• One account per person. Do not share accounts or use automated means to access the Service without our written permission.
• We may email you about your account and how to use the Service; product emails carry an unsubscribe link.

Plans. Current plans and prices are on the pricing page. Starter includes 75 credits a month and Pro includes unlimited generations. One-time credit packs do not renew, do not expire, and are used only after your plan's allowance runs out; on the free plan, images made with pack credits keep the watermark. The free plan includes 2 Explore Ideas images in total, watermarked, and does not renew. Existing subscriptions keep the benefits they were sold with.

Credits. A credit measures AI usage. One Explore Ideas image, one Design a Space image or one Fix Renders take costs 1 credit; a perspective render from Design Studio costs 3; brand-book extraction costs 2 per processing batch. The cost is shown before you generate. Monthly credits refresh on the first day of each calendar month (UTC), including on annual plans, and unused credits do not carry over. When credits run out, generation pauses until the next refresh. We do not bill for overages and we do not currently sell extra credits.

Billing. Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or annually, in US dollars plus any applicable tax, and renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments as merchant of record; Dodo’s terms apply to the payment transaction and Dodo issues your invoice. Failed payments place the subscription in a past-due state in which paid features pause; if payment is not collected before the period ends, the subscription ends.

Cancellation. Cancel any time from Profile → Subscription. Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep paid access until the end of the period you have paid for, then your account moves to the free plan. Unused credits lapse at that point.

Price changes. We may change prices for future periods. Existing subscribers get at least 30 days’ notice before a change affects them.

Refunds. See our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which is part of these terms. In short: credits already used are not refunded, unused periods are not refunded on cancellation, and nothing in that policy removes a refund right the law gives you.

Your uploads. You keep ownership of the photos, plans, brand books and text you upload. You give us a licence to store and process them solely to run the Service for you. You confirm you have the right to upload them, including any client brand material, and that they do not infringe anyone else’s rights.

Generated designs. Images and scenes generated on a paid plan may be used by you for any lawful purpose, including client work and commercial use, for as long as you like, even after your subscription ends. Free and Lite plan outputs are watermarked and licensed for evaluation only. AI outputs are not unique: similar or identical outputs may be generated for other users, and we make no promise that any output is protected by copyright or is exclusively yours.

What you may not do. Resell or redistribute outputs as standalone stock, templates or datasets; use outputs or the Service to build or train a competing AI product; present a generated design as a certified professional drawing; or generate designs that infringe someone else’s trademark, copyright or trade dress.

Our property. The Service, its software, design and branding belong to us and are protected by copyright, trademark and trade secret law. You may not copy, reverse-engineer or scrape it.

• Do not upload or generate content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, sexual, or that violates someone’s privacy or intellectual property.
• Do not attempt to bypass credit limits, access other users’ data, probe or overload our systems, or interfere with the Service.
• Do not use the Service to send spam or to collect other people’s data without their permission, including through client review links.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where practical we will warn you first.

Generated images, scenes, quantities and estimates are design aids produced by AI. They can be wrong, inconsistent, or physically impossible. They are not architectural drawings, engineering documents, building-code assessments or cost quotations, and Design Studio measurements and bill-of-quantity figures are estimates, not certified documents.

Before anything is built, procured or shown to a client as final, have it reviewed by qualified professionals. You are responsible for that review and for checking that outputs do not use brand names, logos or designs you have no right to use.

The Service is provided as is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose, and we do not promise any output will meet your expectations. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data, or losses arising from reliance on an AI output, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for consumer rights that apply to you.

If a third party brings a claim against us because of content you uploaded, a design you generated and used in breach of §5, or your breach of these terms, you will cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim.

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by emailing info@retaildesign.ai. We can suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the Service, in which case we will refund any prepaid period we do not deliver. After termination we delete your account data as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections 5, 7, 8 and 9 survive termination.

Payments run through Dodo Payments; AI generation runs on Google and OpenAI models; hosting and storage run on Vercel and Supabase. Their terms govern their services. Links to other sites are provided for convenience and we are not responsible for them.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If we have a dispute, we will first try to resolve it by talking, starting with an email to info@retaildesign.ai. Failing that, the courts at New Delhi, India have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer you may rely on the mandatory protections and courts of the country where you live.

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date and show a notice in the product for material changes. Continuing to use the Service after the change means you accept it. If you do not, stop using the Service and cancel your subscription before the next renewal.
