- Materials
- Warm oak, pale concrete and white walls form a restrained mix, so leather browns and whites on the shoes supply the colour.
- Lighting
- Long linear fittings run overhead and the white-painted ducts keep the ceiling light. The window shelves rely on street daylight.
- Layout
- A clear centre route leads from the door to the slatted wall, with the till on the right and concrete blocks as stopping points. A tall mirror at left helps with trying on.
- Display
- Each shoe sits alone on its shelf, so a design reads at a glance. Grey stacked boxes by the till keep stock within staff reach.
