Scandi jewellery store interior design · day

Design notes
- Materials
- White walls, pale oak and veined marble give a gentle, airy palette. Grey trays keep metals and straps clear against the lighter surroundings.
- Lighting
- Daylight enters from the left, small spots sit on the beams and glowing edges surround the niches and mirror. Lighting each niche separately makes small objects look important.
- Layout
- The long floor is kept completely clear, with stools and an olive tree along the sides. Visitors walk straight to the counter and browse the niches on the way.
- Display
- Window cases in oak frames show necklaces to passers-by, and wall niches hold watches at eye height. Using the windows as display units turns the frontage into advertising.
Try this: In a slim shop, push display into recessed wall niches so the floor stays open for walking.
