Design notes
- Materials
- Light oak, white steel, terrazzo-style table tops and soft grey linen make up the palette.
- Lighting
- Daylight comes from large windows, track lights run in rows overhead and warm shelf light glows around the rear alcoves. Layering these sources stops the deep room going flat.
- Layout
- The route runs down the middle with tables staggered either side and a clothing rail near the back right.
- Display
- Folded throws and towels sit below tall shelves of glassware, so soft goods and hard goods share the window wall. Baskets and cushions on the front table offer easy add-ons.
Try this: Put soft stacks beneath window-wall glassware so daylight does the selling for the delicate items.
