Futuristic café interior design · evening
Design notes
- Materials
- Olive upholstery, walnut, grey concrete and terrazzo form a deep, cohesive palette.
- Lighting
- Light is built into the vault edges, the wall and the shelves, so the room glows without much visible hardware.
- Layout
- Thin brass lines are inlaid in the floor and run along the counter into the seating area.
- Display
- The pastry case sits at the counter's front edge in the walking route, and bottles and jars on lit shelves behind the bar show a small retail range.
Try this: When the ceiling is the main feature, keep furniture low and calm in colour so the architecture can carry the room.
