- Materials
- Brick, blackened metal, timber tops and polished concrete make a hardwearing palette, and small pots of ferns bring green onto the tables.
- Lighting
- Enamel dome pendants hang at table height and festoon lights run along the brick, making the large room feel more intimate.
- Layout
- A central aisle runs down the middle with tables on both sides and bar stools at the far end. The counter sits at the back, so the queue does not cross the dining space.
- Display
- A glass display of baked goods sits at the front of the counter, with grinders and bags on the wall behind.
Try this: Hang lights low over tables and the counter, and the high industrial ceiling recedes, leaving a cosy room beneath.
